The second-generation Isuzu D-Max earned a loyal following among tradies and 4WD owners for its durability and reliability. The tailgate, however, is a common frustration — heavy to lift when loading and prone to dropping hard when released. The ProLift Tailgate Assist addresses both problems by fitting a gas strut damper to the factory hinge points, absorbing the impact on the way down and assisting the lift on the way up.
