The Ford Ranger NextGen arrived in Australia with a completely redesigned platform and a wider, heavier tray — and a tailgate to match. Without assistance, operating the tailgate repeatedly throughout the day becomes a two-hand exercise in fatigue management. The ProLift Tailgate Assist is cut specifically for the NextGen's revised hinge design, fitting a gas strut that takes control of the descent and reduces the effort on every lift.

This kit fits the Ford Ranger NextGen (P703) from the 2022 model year onwards. It is not compatible with the previous-generation Ranger PX, PX2 or PX3 — for those see the dedicated kit in our ProLift range.
