Toyota Hilux N80 (2015–2025)
The N80 was a major step forward for the Hilux — wider tub, stronger chassis, significantly improved interior, and a new 2.8L diesel engine. It ran from 2015 to 2025 and became Australia's best-selling vehicle for many of those years.
The N80 came in several grades:
- SR Workmate — base grade, steel wheels, basic interior
- SR5 — mid-grade, most popular, alloy wheels, better interior
- Rugged — added factory styling and off-road appearance upgrades
- Rogue — premium grade, leather, more features
- Rugged X — most capable factory off-road variant

Toyota Hilux N90 (2026+)
The N90 arrived in Australia in 2026 as the latest evolution of the Hilux. It brings updated styling, improved interior technology, and refined driving dynamics. Importantly for accessories buyers — the N90 has different tub dimensions to the N80. N80 accessories will not fit the N90 correctly.
